From Pages to Power Moves
Where It All Started
What began as a simple landing page turned into the start of something much bigger.
Avalanche Campaigning brought us in to refine their web presence—but after delivering on that need with clarity and speed, they invited us into deeper waters. That opportunity led us straight into the heart of a major moment: the 2024 New York Senate Race for District 48.
We became the creative department for candidate Caleb Slater—a first-time politician with no funding, no party machinery, and no blueprint other than grassroots connection. At just 27, Caleb took on a race stacked against him. And we stood behind his message from day one—not because of politics, but because of purpose.
Though we weren’t able to remain with the campaign through the finish line due to funding limitations, we helped shape its foundation. Our early creative work built credibility and visibility—tools that helped Caleb get within just a few points of a Senate seat.
That’s the power of showing up early, executing with excellence, and letting value speak louder than budget.
Building Beyond the Season

Campaigns are temporary—but what we learned was permanent.
Once the Avalanche partnership paused, we had a choice to make: wait for another project or build something of our own. We chose to build.
We applied everything we’d learned to scale our model in-house. That meant staying flexible like a contractor, but structuring like a studio—so we could serve direct clients while staying open to collaborations that aligned with our mission.
That pivot led to a new partnership between Prime Contrast and Will Franklin, a client with incredible potential but an underdeveloped brand. Together, we launched a full-scale photo shoot and digital rebrand, starting with visuals and ending with strategy. The results gave him more than a landing page—they gave him a long-term plan.

What We Learned
1. Say Yes Before You're “Ready”
Creative professionals often talk themselves out of opportunities waiting for the “perfect” setup. But the truth is: belief often comes from the outside first. If someone sees potential in you, take the leap. Learn as you go. Start with what you have—and let your effort open new doors.
2. Adapt or Plateau
When the Avalanche work paused, we didn’t panic. We studied what worked and what didn’t. That analysis gave us the push to design a more sustainable structure for ourselves. A season of pause became a season of pivot—and that’s when real growth started.
3. Don’t Underestimate Relationships
Our partnership with Avalanche started from a college connection that didn’t seem like much at the time. Years later, that friendship turned into a business opportunity that shifted our entire model. Every person in your life could be a future collaborator, mentor, or client. Don’t overlook the everyday connections—they often carry the most weight.
